Honestly, I don't have that much information to give you right now. This morning, SSgt Shaw posted this on the 649th Webpage... "To those who are worried because you have not heard from your Soldiers in 3rd Plt...everyone has been working hard somewhere where there is no internet. Soon you will start hearing from them again, hang in there... They are all safe and sound!"

Family and Friends
We are another month closer to being home with our loved ones and we have hit the half way mark in our deployment. This past month the soldiers of 3rd Platoon have been extremely busy working and improving the area that we are assigned. The weather is getting warmer which means it is time to build. 3rd Platoon is being noticed for our efforts up at the 101st Division level. Everyone in this area knows who we are and have good things to say. All the Soldiers in the platoon are working hard but can’t wait for the day to go home. I know myself and my Soldiers love getting mail from their friends and families so please keeps send packages and letters to your Soldier. I also want to say that 3rd Platoon has been extremely busy and are in locations for weeks on end with no type of communications to make calls or send emails home. If you don’t hear from them for a few weeks don’t panic we are most likely in a location where there is no communication and as soon as we get to location with a way to call home your loved one will. Until next month take care and thank you for all of the support you are and have given 3rd Platoon.
